Yolanda has more than 25 years’ experience in the mining industry in various disciplines including mining media publishing, business development, client engagement, and investor and community relations in Australia, Asia and Africa.
In 2004, Yolanda developed the first and still remains the only bilingual (English and Chinese) mining industry publication for the Asia-Pacific mining sector – The ASIA Miner magazine. In 2009, with all eyes turning to resource-rich Africa, Yolanda developed The African Mining Network which offers the African mining industry regular networking events, workshops, investor pitches and weekly news service.
Yolanda’s outstanding communication skills give her the ability to develop and cultivate relationships internationally and led her to achieve unrivalled success and industry respect within the mining industry in establishing and growing business success. Yolanda’s success in pioneering new communication, networking and publishing ventures for the mining industry in Africa, Australia and Asia is well recognized.

AMN Event Coordinator
Nina Van Wyk began her role as The African Mining Network coordinator in 2011.
Since then her commitment and determination to meet and grow her knowledge of the major players in the African Mining industry have seen her move to now being The African Mining Network bi-monthly event manager.
Nina has become a respected and most knowledgeable member of the African Mining Industry in her role as African Mining Network event manager. She liaises with members, meets their requests and manages the hosting of the event dinners.
